With a professional knowledge of the primary school syllabus, each child is assessed to address gaps in their understanding, targeting their exact needs.
Lively literacy
Through high-quality peer-reviewed resources, literacy services include reading and comprehension, as well as phonics, vocabulary, and spelling. Writing skills encompass recount, narrative, report, and persuasive styles, teaching the specific language devices associated with each genre. Students are taught how to construct complex and compound sentences, which lead to paragraph structure.
Memorable mathematics
As Perth math tutors, we cover addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, as well as level-appropriate strategies for each. We also explore problem-solving strategies, working-out techniques, worded math questions, time, fractions, and more.
Online learning for reading and writing
LALI now offers online education for reading and writing. While we always recommend face-to-face sessions, the online platform is suitable for older students who are comfortable with and capable of self-led learning, as well as those who live remotely.
Effective essays
Specifically designed for adults and mature age students going back to tertiary studies, our essay writing sessions build the skills needed for the Special Tertiary Admissions Test (or STAT). Go into your university entry exam with confidence knowing you’re equipped with the writing skills you need to succeed.

Aside from online learning, the above areas can be (and usually are) combined to suit the needs of the student.
